Thanks, I think this is far form a perfect photo. The sky was blue, but overall, the colours in this photo was increased, otherwise, everything is as it was.

hey!

Wow. Your photos are really vibrant! This is my favorite. I love the over saturated look. It reminds me of "Amelie". The compostion was also nicely thought out. Do you have any of just the little houses?

Thanks, I'm not sure about your question at the end though, are you asking if I have a country house like it?

oh i really like this
i would have places the horizon line a little higher in the shot... coz you know, sky is the same and we all know what it looks like, but more of this beautiful village view would have been awesome!

Very nice in every aspect but composition. There basicly isnt any element strong enough in the shot to make it striking.

Did u modify color balance in this one? like put more blue? because there is a lot of blue on the houses at the horizont, and there 's something about the house, i cant say exactly what, maybe there s too much contrast on it.
The green grass looks perfect though :)

I have to say, I didn't actually add more blue this time than any other colours.

All colours were increased in saturation.

The only reason why the horizon is so blue is because of the way I used my filter.

to get any clouds showing through, I cover half my lens with an ND filter (i.e. until the horizon), which is kinda why it goes to blue quite quickly.

Thanks for commenting :)

WOW - should be in the dictionary as the definition of excellence in photography.
The painterly qualities of light and also the harmonic symmetry in the composition is exquisite!!!

A FAVOURITE

tips depend if you have photoshop or not, since that's about the only program I know about...lol

Thakns, I just had to check out CS2, a few nifty features, would say the non-destructuive scaling is the best one, makes things a lot easier.

the best thing for colours is the colour match tool under "image" tab.

just increase the colour intensity there. there might be certain colours that are not very correct, white mostly becomes magenta, correct this in hue if needed by selecting megenta instead of master in the hue box.

All I ever need for colours is in the image tab, levels, curves, selective colour, colour balance are the main ones I use.

i cannot find this Colour Match Tool..under image tabs, there is other things but no "color match" and nothing with match it in it had a Master bar that you could select diff colors

non destructive scaling whats that ?
Reply
:iconfreddyc:
FreddyC Featured By Owner May 10, 2005  Hobbyist Photographer
Do you not notice it?

It's bascially when you scale an image down, then you enlarge it again on CS and v7, you get a more pixelated image than before you resized it.

but this one, you don't.

And match colour is at:

image => ajustments => match colour...

then colour intensity
